Roof Replacement in Central Oregon.
A full roof replacement in Central Oregon usually starts when the existing shingles have lost their granules, the underlayment is brittle, or storm damage has gone beyond patching. We strip the roof to the deck, inspect every sheet of sheathing, dry-in with modern synthetic underlayment, and install the new system to manufacturer spec.
Pricing
Most residential asphalt re-roofs in Central Oregon run from roughly $9,000 to $18,000 depending on square footage, pitch, layers being removed, and complexity (chimneys, skylights, dormers). Standing-seam metal and synthetic composite cost more and last longer. Every estimate is itemized so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Lead time
Estimates in a week; tear-offs scheduled 3–6 weeks out depending on season.

FAQ
Roof Replacement questions, answered.
- How long does a roof replacement take?
- Most single-family homes in Bend or Redmond are a 2–3 day tear-off and install. Larger or steeper roofs take longer. Weather can stretch the timeline; we don't open more roof than we can dry-in the same day.
- Can you re-roof over existing shingles?
- We don't recommend it. Overlays hide deck problems, void some manufacturer warranties, and add weight your trusses weren't designed for. We tear off to the deck so we can stand behind the work.
- What brands do you install?
- We're certified installers for the major shingle lines (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Malarkey). We're brand-agnostic — we'll spec what makes sense for the climate, the budget, and how long you plan to be in the home.
- Do I need to be home for the work?
- No. As long as we have access to the driveway for the dumpster and material, and any pets are kept inside, the crew can work without you on site.
- What does the warranty cover?
- Two layers: the manufacturer's system warranty (30–50 years depending on shingle line) covers material defects, and our written workmanship warranty covers the install itself. You get both in writing at job close.
